Στο πλαίσιο του Πακέτου Εργασίας 10 (Π.Ε.10): «Διεκδικούμε Μαζί: Δράση καταπολέμησης του αποκλεισμού και των διακρίσεων και παροχής εξατομικευμένης υποστήριξης των ατόμων με αναπηρία, χρόνιες παθήσεις και των οικογενειών τους» της Πράξης ‘Αγησίλαος’, πρόκειται να υλοποιηθούν δια ζώσης συναντήσεις των Στελεχών της Ομάδας Έργου της Ε.Σ.Α.μεΑ. με τα ίδια τα άτομα με αναπηρία ή/και χρόνια πάθηση και τα μέλη των οικογενειών τους, καθώς και με Στελέχη των Υπηρεσιών που τα υποστηρίζουν άμεσα και έμμεσα.

Ημερίδα Προβολής του Οδηγού Καταναλωτή με Αναπηρία, Πάτρα 20.2.2023
Η Εθνική Συνομοσπονδία Ατόμων με Αναπηρία διοργανώνει Ημερίδα Προβολής του Οδηγού Καταναλωτή με Αναπηρία στην Πάτρα τη Δευτέρα 20 Φεβρουαρίου 2023, από τις 16:00 έως τις 21:00 στο ξενοδοχείο AstirPatras (Αγίου Ανδρέου 16, Πάτρα). Η ημερίδα πραγματοποιείται στο πλαίσιο της Δράσης «Δικτύωση αναπηρικού κινήματος με το κίνημα των καταναλωτών» (Πακέτο Εργασίας 1, Υποέργο 4), που έχει ως στόχο α) την προώθηση των ειδικών αναγκών των καταναλωτών με αναπηρία μέσω της δικτύωσης των τοπικών αναπηρικών οργανώσεων με το κίνημα καταναλωτών και β) την ενδυνάμωση των καταναλωτών με αναπηρία για τη διεκδίκηση των δικαιωμάτων τους.

The European Commission published its recommendation on Disaster Resilience Goals
The European Commission has published on the 9th of February 2023 its recommendation on disaster resilience goals to strengthening disaster resilience and improve the capacity of the EU and its Member States to withstand the effects of current and future natural and man-made disasters, most of them exacerbated by climate change and environmental degradation.
European Parliament defends political rights of mobile EU citizens with disabilities
The European Parliament introduced new provisions to ensure that EU citizens with disabilities living in another EU country have reinforced rights to participate in the political process. These provisions were set in two reports adopted on 14 February 2023 concerning the political rights of EU citizens living in another Member State of which they are not national – the so-called mobile EU citizens.
EDF Women's Committee: 2022 achievements and 2023 work programme
The EDF Women’s Committee includes women with disabilities and mothers of persons with disabilities. They shape the policies and priorities of EDF on women’s rights and help us mainstream gender in all our work. The former Women’s Committee mandate ended in June 2022 and a new Committee was formed in September 2022. The Committee recently adopted its work plan 2023-2026, including list of activities for 2023.
INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY ALLIANCE
Strategic collaboration with the UN Refugee Agency
On December 4, 2020, the International Disability Alliance (IDA) and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate and frame their collaboration. Building on the unique status of UNHCR as the main coordinator of global refugee response, and IDA unique representation of persons with disabilities and their organizations, this MOU has initiated a key collaboration toward enhancing equal protection, inclusion, and participation of forcibly displaced and Stateless persons with disabilities.
